Spring is just around the corner in Copperfield, and it's a wonderful time to enjoy the great outdoors in our vibrant community! Consturction of Wildflower Pond and Copperfield Community Center site is going very well, and as most of you know, the skating rink has been completed and will provide a lot of fun for the local resident next winter, when colder temperature prevail. Groundbreaking News
2006 has been a very busy year for construction,
with Wildflower Pond being completed as well as
infrastructure in phases 14, 15, and 16. Currently
Phase 17 is being serviced. The Community
Center Site is well underway with a number of
components scheduled for completion this year and
the remaining items to be completed in the spring
with warmer weather. As well, rough grading
for future phases as well as the third storm pond

3rd Annual Picnic in the Park
The 3rd Annual Picnic in the Park was a Huge Success despite some
scary looking weather. We had 700 people turn out for a BBQ and
fun family games. Thank you to Hopewell and the City of Calgary Community & Neighborhood Services for all of your support. 4th Annual Earth Day
This annual event held this year on May 14th in Copperfield was another success and saw several families attend to learn more about opportunities to take ownership for the common areas of the community. Several youngsters learned from parents, the value of giving back to your community. Alvin Choong, a photographer from City of Calgary Natural Areas Adopt-A-Park program was in attendance to capture the efforts of this years volunteers. Download Newsletter
